On November 22, 2021 Sergeant Jones and Officer Leaf were dispatched to a suspected overdose. Upon arrival Officers observed the male patient unresponsive, blue in color with labored breathing. Officers administered Nasal Narcan along with rescue breathing in an attempt to counter the effects of the narcotic. The West Essex First Aid Squad along with the Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the male patient to a local area Hospital where he regained consciousness. All Essex Fells Police vehicles are equipped with Nasal Narcan and lifesaving equipment. We commend our Officers on a job well done!
