On February 18, 2025, Mayor Davis, the Town Council and Chief Volker recognized two of our officers for their performance of life saving CPR. On February 1, 2025, at approximately 11:33 am, Sergeant Scott Cohen and Officer Gannon Chiuchiolo were dispatched to the Fells Brook Club located on Fells Rd., on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, Sergeant Cohen observed an unconscious male party. Two individuals who had witnessed the incident were already performing CPR. Sergeant Cohen instructed them to continue CPR as he set up the AED. Officer Chiuchiolo arrived on scene and took over chest compressions. Due to the actions of the witnesses on scene, the training and experience of the officers and use of the AED, they were able to bring back the patient’s pulse, with him regaining consciousness and breathing on his own. We are happy to have been joined by him and his family during Tuesday’s recognition ceremony. Thank you Sergeant Cohen and Officer Chiuchiolo for an outstanding job!
